Banbury then Coventry

What a night we had at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury earlier this month! Another brilliant, and it has to be said, extremely enthusiastic turnout saw us launch the new line up following the very welcome addition of Louise Wilson to the band, who definitely hit the ground running! Check out our Facebook page to see the superb collection of photos taken on the night.

Together Louise and Sofia produced exactly what we’ve been looking for over the last year or so with some amazing vocal harmonies layered onto our already full Floyd sound. They gel so well together and we’re all really excited about presenting the band to audiences both old and new as we travel around this year.

Talking of which, next up is a return to our regular home town Coventry on Saturday 3rd May with a show at the Albany Club in Earlsdon, playing our part in a triple-header of gigs at the venue over the bank holiday weekend as part of the 2014 Earlsdon Festival.

We perform in the upstairs concert room and doors open up to the public at 8pm. We’re on stage at 9.15 and there’s a late bar til 1am so make sure you’re wearing your drinking boots! Quite how we’re all going to squeeze onto that stage is another issue but I’m sure we’ll manage it somehow. It’s gonna be cosy!

Those who’ve been to our previous shows at the Albany will know the room capacity is fairly small so if you’d like to get an advance ticket they can be purchased from the venue itself or by ordering via the promoter Dave Clark on 07956 692375. Alternatively, simply show up and pay on the door. It’s a bargain £10 either way for well over 2 hours of classic live Pink Floyd music in a brilliant atmosphere.

See you there!
