The Box and beyond

Hi everyone.

This Saturday we make a welcome return to Crewe with our second appearance at The Box, an excellent little venue with a great music vibe. We were made extremely welcome last time by the promoter, the sound and light crews and especially all the new people who’d never seen DSOTW before. Hopefully this next show will build from that debut and we’ll have a great night. All the gig details are as follows:

The girls have been busy working on some new backing vocal arrangements for a couple of songs we’ve not played for a while and we’ll be giving them an airing on Saturday too. Louise and Sofia told us they sounded great and last night’s pre-show rehearsal confirmed as much!

After The Box we have a short break whilst the World Cup takes place. Lessons learnt way back tell us to never run the risk of going head-to-head with an England World Cup game so we’ll be back on the road again on Saturday 19th July when we make the relatively short trip down the A45 to Birmingham and a return to The Roadhouse, which keeps getting better on each visit!

There’s some exciting times ahead later on the year, not least our appearance on the main stage at Sunshine Festival in Upton-on-Severn over the August bank holiday weekend. More about that nearer the time.
